Booked, but $100 more than planned. It was 9 days, not 8.
You get a weekly rate (2 days off) when you book for 7 days. They are letting us pick-up on Friday for the same cost b/c they are closed on Sunday.
69.99/day times 7 days + 40 (tax) + 20 (CA fee) = 550.00

It's not likely that we will be renting a car, we are going to find someone via eplaya rideshare, or a few friends might be swinging through SF on the way to the burn.

Yes get the 13' Cargo van! My school loan is coming soon so I will be able to pay you or pay Andy back.. I guess you could just e-mail your home address and we'll get a check to you.
ReplyDeleteI think we should stick to just the monkey hut and the extra poles/tarp idea-- it seemed like the MH was good last year, is the different setup this going to affect it in a way we'd need to add the gazebo?
Like Andy said, we are pretty sure we will be able to get our bodies to the playa, as long as the van can take our supplies/clothes/food.
Awesome! I'm glad you two are okay with the finding a ride thing. Worst case scenario we can always pretend you two are a couple boxes in the moving van. :P I think dropping the gazebo is a good idea and it isn't needed for the design. Only would have darkened the monkey hut up a bit and created another chill area. MH was big enough. I'll adjust the totals when I get home and send my address with the new breakdown. Rockin!
